Jeph Loeb Talks About Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. In Season 4

 

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stumbled out of the gate and while it’s since found its footing, the show has never managed to get back to the sort of ratings it debuted with. However, with a new later timeslot this Fall, it sounds like the series could be about to undergo something of a tonal shift.

Talking in the video below, Marvel Television boss Jeph Loeb actually sheds some light on why the series airing at 10pm could bring things more in line with the likes of Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

He said “By going to 10 o’clock, we’re going to be taking on just a little bit more edge, a little bit more grit. The show is pretty violent for something at 9 o’clock, but when we get to 10 o’clock, we’re going to be just a little hair of something that I think people are going to really enjoy.”
