News Concerning The Flash Season 3

 

Earlier this week, we learned that Joey King will appear in the upcoming third season of The Flash. Described as a meta-human with the ability to control metal, we don’t know much about how she’ll factor into the series, but her powers apparently come with a dangerous side effect, causing her villainous alter ego known as Magenta to emerge.

Chances are that she’ll end up making just the one appearance then, but The Flash has a great track record when it comes to introducing villains, and it will be fun to see what the Fargo and Independence Day: Resurgence actress ends up bringing to the table as one of the younger foes the Fastest Man Alive has faced in The CW series.

This week, the actress shared a behind the scenes look at her transformation into Magenta, it definitely appears as if The Flash is sticking closely to the source material here. We’re actually going to see King debut as Frances “Frankie” Kane/Magenta in the third episode, so it won’t be too long until we get an official look at her as this villain. For now though, this is an intriguing sneak peek at a fresh take on yet another obscure DC Comics character courtesy of The Flash.
