By the time Adeleke got to his final year in school, he had broken the hearts of over fifty girls though he wasn't able to get under skirt of all of them but the percentage was low compared to those he did. He needed to forget about Tutu and everything she put him through and he thought the best way he could do it was to fall in love again but the problem was that he couldn’t fall in love again. Every relationship he goes into, he goes into it with the hope of finding closure but emotionally he was pretty damaged that once he gets under their skirt he got tired of the relationship, with or without any form of argument or quarrel whatsoever. And as time went on this became a habit which he later enjoyed and embraced and just like he told one his friends “as much as I am get laid, emotions my foot bro”.
Toward his final semester in school, he attended a party and he came across a girl named Funmilayo, very pretty and matured she was a year older than him, though she was in her second year. Like the way he approaches every other girl, Adeleke approached her, “excuse me beautiful, can I chat with you for a minute? He said as he walked up to her. She was standing in the midst of her friends and her reply was this “we are all beautiful and we don't chat for a minute, so I am guessing you can’t chat with us”.

He giggled a little bit before he said “okay then Funmilayo can I get to chat with you for a while”. She was very surprise that he knew her name and that she demanded to know how he came about her name, “if you agree to chat with me I would tell you how I knew your name” Adeleke said......

“Well mister if you don't tell me now, then I am sure you won’t get that chat”, she said before she and her friends walked out on him. He laughed as she walked, he felt embarrassed yet in a way he didn't mind and as she was walking further away from him, he kept staring at her.

Two weeks after that day, they met again this time it was in the bank, she had come to make some deposit while he came along with a friend.

If you are ready to listen, I am ready to tell you how I knew your name” he said immediately they had finishing exchanging pleasantry. She laughed right before she said “hmmm, well first of all what is your name

I am Adeleke but you can call me leke” he replied.

Well Leke too bad right now isn’t a good time for we to chat, I am late for a class but here is my number, you can give me a call, that's if you are still interested in tell me how you knew my name” she said and immediately she gave him her number, she left.

Later that evening Adeleke called her and just like he had earlier promised he told her how he knew her name, he also fixed an appointment for them to see each other at school the next day which she agreed to.

It's been three months since they met at the party and two months since they started talking, Adeleke had tried all his best just to get her into bed but none of his tricks and scope worked. She had perfectly kept Adeleke in a friend zone that even Adeleke himself didn't notice, though she was falling in love with him but she didn't show it until she started to notice that Adeleke had started acting strange. It started with him not calling her regularly like he used to, and when he decides to call he doesn’t spend much time like before, going to her house had also stopped. She knew why he had started acting strange (at least she assumed), so she also acted strange when she went to his home and offered him sex.

Adeleke was in his room watching a movie on his laptop when he heard a knock on his door, he got up to check who was there and he was surprised to discover it was Funmilayo,

Funmi what are you doing here by this time, I mean I wasn't expecting to see you” he said as he ushered her in.

It was fifteen minute to seven that very evening and she had never stayed beyond 6 pm in his house, that was prompted the question he asked.

Since your Muhammad won’t come to my mountain, my mountain has decided to come to your Muhammad” she said as she went in and lay on his bed.

I am sorry I have been very busy with my project and reading for my final exams” he said as an excuse for his actions but she didn't believe him.

They say all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, I don't want you to be Jack that why I have decided to come play with you” she said to him and before he could reply her she said “I am hungry what do you have at home”.

After he had gotten her what she was going to eat and she had told him she was going to spend the night with him, Adeleke was happy that YES! he was finally going to do the deed. But when it was time for him to make his move all he could do was to kiss and caress her but that wasn’t the shocker, the shocker was when she started taking off her clothes and he stopped her.

“I am very sorry, I don't want you to feel bad or embarrassed but really I am not in the mood” he said to her.

At this point she was very confused because she had thought the reason why he was avoiding her was because she didn't agree to his demands, now that she wants to agree, he is rejecting it. She demanded to know why he was rejecting her advance but he stock to his statement of not being in the mood due to the fact that he had a lot going through his mind and that would distract him.

I don't believe you a bit but if that's your excuse then too bad because this won’t happen again” she said before she quietly slept off.

Adeleke had to go see his project supervisor, so he had left the house around 7:30am while she was still sleeping, he didn't want to wake her so he wrote a note and kept it on the table before he left for school. She woke up at anout some minutes past 9 and she was surprised when she discovered that he had gone to school. “Hey good morning, how was your night, hope you slept well? I had to go to school early so I could see my supervisor, sorry I didn't wake you, I didn't just want to disturb” that was the content of the letter.

On his way to school Adeleke started to think about what had transpired in the night, that was the first time he was going to reject an opportunity with a lady and he was trying to figure out why he did that.

Although the moment he said wasn't in the mood, he knew why he said so but he thought probably he could come up with another reason than him being in love with her. “Love is not something I can afford to feel not even with everything I have been through” he said to himself. “Make I no lie I like this girl sha but no, Leke, you can’t afford to fall in love, you are only going to hurt her and mostly hurt yourself” this and more where part of his thoughts in his mind as he headed down to school.

The fact that he rejected the sex and he was probably falling in love with her got him thinking, he did a lot of thinking and that was when he realized that ever since he had met her, he had somehow forgotten about Tutu, he had also stop being a player, she had somehow made him more responsible.
He knew he had to keep her in his life but how was he going to do it without completely falling in love with her, how long would he now be able to resist her knowing that she was ready to offer him a chance in bed.
