So make sure you log on to www.radiodiaspora.com.ng every Friday 12:30 (W.A.T) as we promise to give you a show like never before. So without further ado below is the songs we are reviewing this week:

1.      Phyno ft M.I X Burna Boy -Link Up: This song is our pick from the just released Playmaker album from Phyno. From the beat down to the production and of course the collaboration, M.I X Burna Boy took the song to another level. The rating would be 9/10. (Watch out for the full album review). (Nigeria)

2.      Sarkodie -Politics: Sarkodie is one rapper that doesn’t need any introduction as he as continue to make name for himself across Africa. On a very cool instrumental he decided to talk about the political and economy issues in Ghana and I must say he did justice to it. The rating would be 7/10. (Ghana)

3.      DJ-Enimoney-ft-Olamide X Pheelz -P.T.A (People Talk Alot): YBNL in house Deejay DJ Enimoney employed the service of his label boss Olamide and in-house producer Pheelz on this dope ID Cabasa produced track. Really the only thing I would comment on is the production genius in the song, for those of you thinking Cabasa doesn’t have any more abeg rethink, he murdered on this one. The rating would be 9/10. (Nigeria)

4.      Rayce - 21Love: After staying away for a while, super talented producer and singer Rayce returns with another lovely tune titled 21Love and I must say I am impressed. The rating would be 8/10. (Nigeria)

5.      Cassper Nyovest – Abashwe: Cassper Nyovest hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down since he burst into the South African music industry and I would admit that he has stood out as one of the best rappers in Africa as a whole and this song is just a prove of that. His delivery and chorus are just on point and you know nothing makes me happier than a good rap joint. The rating would be 8/10. (South Africa)

6.      Lola Rae ft Davido -Biko: To be candid I was very sceptical about downloading this, I am not really a fan of Lola Rae and I haven’t really been impressed with Davido of late so I was just reluctant when I saw the song but something told me just to give a try and I would say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Lola Rae actually impressed me and Davido too played his part and together they gave us a 7/10 song.  (Nigeria)

7.      Fuse ODG -Jinja: This is one Ghanaian artiste I like very much, from the moment he burst into the music with Azonto, he hasn’t for once disappointed me. As good as this song sound it is not a song that would immediately stick with you, though the instrumentals would definitely put you in a groovy mood but the composition of the song in general would take a while before it hits you. The rating would be 7/10. (Ghana)

8.      Iyanya Ft Don Jazzy X Dr Sid –Up To Something: Every time I remember that Iyanya is now under Mavin, I still feel like am dreaming because left to me this is a wrong move, I mean it would have been nice if he stood on his own but really this is another wrong music move that I have seen this year. Up To Something I must confess is a decent song, Don Jazzy showed us why he is still a producer to reckon in the industry, the rating would be 7/10, though I think I heard some shed been thrown but hey that's just me.

The Evergreen for this week would be Agolo by Angélique Kidjo (Benin)
