In the last 24hours the social media had been buzzing with different report concerning Wizkid victory at the just concluded MTV EMA Award, as news of his award been stripped away from him and giving to Ali Kiba was going around

We now have prove that there was a bit of mix-up as regarding the news as MTV EMA as now come out to clear the air on the issue. MTV EMA explained that both Wizkid and Ali Kiba are winners of different categories.

They said “Alikiba won the local Best Africa Act awards via public vote. Wizkid was selected by MTV as one of 6 worldwide acts from all local nominees across the 32 local categories; this category was not open to public vote.
