News Update On Spider-Man: Homecoming

A very interesting new detail may have been revealed via Reddit, apparently Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took part in a Q&A on Thursday following a Doctor Strange screening and told fans in attendance that composer Michael Giacchino will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to work on Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Here’s what that Reddit user had to say to about how it went down: “Kevin Feige accidentally let slip that Michael Giacchino will be composing the music for Spiderman: Homecoming.  He then said ‘We announced that right? I really hope we announced that.'”

Both the Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man series had very distinctive scores, so it’s great to hear that the same will likely be the case with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Marvel and Sony haven’t issued an official press release with a synopsis and full cast list for the reboot just yet, but when they do, it definitely sounds like we’ll see Giacchino’s name listed there.
