‘Game of Thrones’ actor Peter Vaughan has died

ActorPeter  Vaughan who plays the role of Maester Aemon in the Game Of Thrones TV series has died.
The British actor died aged 93 after a lasting career of over seven decades.
According to a statement from his agent, Sally Long-Innes‘This is to confirm that very sadly Peter Vaughan passed away at approximately 10.30 this morning. He died peacefully with his family around him.’
Vaughan was born Peter Ohm on April 4, 1923 in Shropshire, England and is also known for his role as the ageing butler William Stevens, the father of Anthony Hopkins‘ character in The Remains of the Day.
Asides Game of Thrones, he gained a wider audience with his roles in Porridge and Citizen Smith.
