PRESS RELEASE: Preparation for Miss Tourism Lagos 2017 begins!!

MLK Events & Promotions kicks-off preparation for the 2017 edition of Miss Tourism, Arts & Culture Lagos Beauty Pageant, which holds on Sunday 25th April, 2017. @sheraton hotel ikeja Lagos state.
According to the Director of Programmes MR AYO AFOLAMI , the pageant promises to eclipse the first edition as the winners will walk away with fantastic prizes and other benefits which includes; Empowerment and Skill development opportunities. 
The winners will also represent Lagos State later in the year at the International Culture  Beauty Pageant.

Winners from the first edition  include;
Queen Prisca Emelike (Miss Tourism Lagos 2016) who received a branded car and trip to London as a special guest at Miss Ebony International Beauty Pageant.
Queen Sammy Bukola (Miss Culture Lagos 2016) who won an all-expense paid trip to Dubia with accommodation in a 4 Star Hotel by one of our Sponsor; Insta forex Limited.
Queen Agnes olofinkua (Miss Arts Lagos 2016) who received an appreciable cash prize and become a brand ambassador for Xpression and braids; a household name in the Cosmetics Industry!
The resident judges of the pageant include:
Mrs Johnson Anthonia (Director of Tourism lagos state);
Mrs Collins Oluwatoyin;
Lara Olubo (Orisun TV presenter); and 
Mrs LISA Ibiyemi Odunsi (the Country Manager for Rwandair)
Chief host was Hon Mrs Adebimpe Akinsola; the then Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Arts & Culture and now the Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts & Culture, Lagos state.
Also one of our special guest was Otunba Richard Akin Oshungboye; the  Special Adviser to the Honourable Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly on Budget and planning.
