NFF President Amaju Pinnick Says Joining CAF Will Bring Value To Nigerian Football

Nigerian Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick has proclaimed that his election into the Confederation of African Football Executive Committee board will be an  advantage to Nigerian Football.

Pinnick is looking to unseat the incumbent and long standing member, Anjorin Moucharafou who also heads the Benin Republic Football Federation when the election holds on the 16th of March in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The former Delta FA chief revealed in a media group platform that the focus of the NFF is not just to qualify for the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia but to make a valuable impact at the Mundial.

He said “Like I initially opine, our focus is qualifying for the World Cup, and if eventually I get elected into CAF, then it will only be a bonus for Nigerian Football. At the moment, our total focus is not only qualifying Nigeria for the World Cup but also make a prominent presence and statement in Russia. Every morning my prayer is for God to dismantle any roadblock to Russia, keep our players and officials in sound health.  This is a project that is extremely important to every member of the NFF
