Enyimba finally gets first win in five games

Enyimba finally got their first win in five games with a hard-fought 2-0 Oriental derby win against FC IfeanyiUbah in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League tie on Wednesday.
Goals from Joseph Osadiaye and Mfon Udoh secured the much needed win for the Peoples Elephant who have been in poor form lately. Osadiaye opened the scoring in the 32nd minute off an assist from Udoh. Udoh made it 2-0 with two minutes left and secured the points for the home team.

In another rescheduled NPFL game on Wednesday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, MFM FC secured back-to-back away draws in less than five days following their 1-1 draw against Wikki Tourist. Wikki Tourist took the lead in the 35th minute through Shammah Tanze. But in the 61st minute, MFM were back on level terms thanks to Stanley Okorom's equaliser.
