Guardiola Breaks Champions Leagues Record

Despite not be able to reach the quarter final of the Champions League for the first time in his career Pep Guardiola has now managed 100 UEFA competition games surpassing Louis van Gaal.

Manchester City were beaten 3-1 by Monaco on Wednesday night, eliminating the Catalan coach from the Champions League, the loss is only the 16th of his managerial career in Europe with 61 wins and 23 draws.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has won the Champions League on two occasions and reached the semi-finals on a further five occasions. He has also lifted the UEFA Super Cup on three occasions.
