#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

It’s another beautiful Friday and we are here to serve you with the freshest and best sound coming out of Africa. Without further ado here are the songs we shall be reviewing on this week Absolute Hearts Music Review:

1.      Runtown - For Life: Once again Runtown returns with another banger, though For Life might not drive the whole town crazy like Mad Over You but trust me this song will definitely go far. The song also had some sample of the Mad Over You and also Sarkodie's Pain Killer and you could hear Sarkodie signature in the song. The rating would be 8/10.

2.      Vector ft Korede Bello - Seaside: Vector returns with another decent track and this time around he brought Korede Bello who by the way did a decent job on the chorus of this song. Seaside is another beautiful song from Vector and the rating would be 8/10.

3.      Zoro - LandLady: Brilliant song from Zoro, I never expected it, for a second I doubted if I was listening to Zoro. The way he handled the chorus was very superb that I felt I was listening to Mr Flavour. I have to give to Zoro. This is another brilliant song and the rating for Landlady would be 9/10.

4.      Chinko Ekun - Gbefun: Chinko Ekun went all out on this song, there is something about this song that just gives me goosebumps and I think it because of the fuji input that Chinko added to the song. Gbefun is definitely a club banger and the rating would be 9/10. Not like its needed but a remix with Dammy Krane won’t be bad.

5.      Kiss Daniel - Sofa: It’s your boy Kiss Daniel and it is a brilliant 10/10 song. With Sofa Kiss took us to another level showing us how versatile he can be if he wants to be and let me just say for the record I am impressed. One thing that impressed me most about this song is the brilliant production, I am pretty sure every Kiss Daniel fan will be going gaga with this song.

6.      Jesse Jagz - Best In You: As we get closer to the release of his latest album Jesse Jagz serves us with another brilliant song, a song that tells us that the Odysseus album would be another master class. Though this song contain some sample from this popular cigarette advert back then, that isn’t to take anything away from this song as it was beautifully crafted and the rating would be 9/10.

7.      Popito ft Ycee X Kayswitch X Rayce - Femi: I know the name Popito might not ring a bell and that's because he is one of those silent producers in Nigeria. He has decided to give us his own first track and on this on he employed the services of Ycee x Kayswitch x Rayce and together they were able to give us a 9/10 rating song.

8.      DJ Tunez ft Adekunle Gold X Del B - My Love: After a smashing feature on Wande Coal's Iskaba, DT Tunez returns with his own single and on this one the South African DJ features two Nigerian superstar in person of Adekunle Gold and super producer Del B, who by the way killed the production of this song. I have to say Adekunle Gold was very much impressive on this song. This is another 10/10 song. This might just be me but this song has this DJ Snake Let Me You Love feel.

9.      Pepenazi ft Tiwa Savage x Masterkraft - Ase: I have always said it, when you do a prayer song, you can never go wrong with it and that was what Pepenazi did on this song and trust me this song is gradually taking over not only because of the beautiful and meaningful lyrics but also because of the brilliant production from Masterkraft. The rating will be 9/10.

10.  Jaywon ft Oritsefemi - Alanu Mi: This is a collaboration I have expected for a long time, I just feel a Jaywon and Oristefemi collabo would be something to look forward to and Alanu Mi didn’t let me down on that front. When it comes to song with very decent lyrics and decent message Jaywon doesn’t shy away from that and that's was what he did on this track. The rating would be 8/10.

11.  Henry Knight - Teach Me: It been a while since we heard from Henry Knight but the very versatile artiste returns with another decent song titled Teach Me which will carry an 8/10 rating.
