#AHVideoAnalysis: Absolute Hearts Music Video Analysis

Yes backed by popular demand and based on logistics Absolute Hearts Music Video Analysis is back and better. Our sincere apologies for putting a pause on our video analysis but it was due to the fact that we were thinking of a better way to serve you better and of course thanks for the enormous pressure that you guys put on us to make sure the analysis came back stronger and better.
Some of the few things we have included are that our video analysis would all cover ALL musical video out of Africa and also it will be brought to you every two weeks. Another addition is going to be the Video Of The Month, this is where we get to decide which video would be our number one video for the month amongst the video that we have analyzed. You can also be part of this by dropping your votes in the comment section.
So without further ado below are the first batch of videos that we have for you;
1. Wizkid ft. Drake Come Closer: No doubt even without a video this song is a hit song but then again a lot of people were disappointed (we included) that Drake wasn’t in the video. Yes I know many would argue the video was good but having Drake would have made everybody happier with this video. Not minding the excuse that was given, an appearance by Drake was very much possible, considering the fact that the video was more of a studio shot. Drake once shot a video with Lil Wayne while Wayne was in prison but that aside the video itself wasn’t bad, I for one enjoy the simplest and the sexy show off of African attire. The DAPS directed video would have a 7/10 rating.

2. Ycee ft. Maleek Berry - Juice: Teekay is the director responsible for this one and I must say he did a very brilliant job. Very simple but yet classic video which of course had too much juice and too much sauce, nice concept with very simple yet creative effects. This video would have an 8/10 rating.

3. Mr Eazi x Mugeez - Business: The major reason I like this video is because it started on a simple note and till the end it stayed that way. There is nothing much to tell about the video expect from the fact that it maintained a simple concept all through. The rating would be 7/10.

4. Sina Rambo - Dari Jimi: Yes we haven’t seen/heard from Sina Rambo in a while but the HKN artiste resurface with cool visuals for this cool song which was impressive. Shot by Hg2 Films and Directed by Sina, this video would definitely go far in promoting the song, meaning it is a good video by all standards but one thing I don’t just get is the belly dancing girls. Like serious what tha hell were they thinking, for me that is a no no. but all in all I rate the video 7/10.

5. DJ-Xclusive-ft-Runtown - Sexy Girls: There is nothing spectacular about this video which was directed by Adasa Cookey but that isn’t to say it is bad video, aside from the special effects it is a normal video expected for this kind of song, there was no extra creativity in it. The rating would be 6/10.

6. Zoro ft. Falz - Buy The Bar: I have said this over time but let me say it again, I strongly believe hip hop songs bring out a different kind of creativity in Clarence and I am sure if you have seen this video then you would agree with me.  As always our video analysis can’t be complete without analyzing a video shot by Clarence who is arguably one of the best music directors out of Nigeria. As expected Clarence brought is A game on this one with some very cool and colourful effects, what wowed me in this video was the way he used the red cups, using it as background was a creative thinking. The rating without a doubt would be 9/10.

7. Wande Coal Iskaba: This video might end up as of the best video from Sesan, everything about this video is dope and did we see Wande Coal display those dances moves he has always claimed he is good at, what gets me most about this video is the simplicity in the video. Thiugh the video is a copy cat video of Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk. The rating would be 9/10.

That's all for today...
