Emotional Adele Comforts Victims Of Grenfell Tower Fire

Grammy Award-winning songstress Adele made an appearance at Grenfell Tower in London to join a vigil and offer support to those affected by the fire, which killed at least 12 people and injured 74 others.

The 29 is a Tottenham-native. She and husband Simon Konecki were photographed by the 24-storey apartment tower in the affluent Notting Hill neighbourhood where the deadly flames devastated, less than 24 hours after crowds starting gathering.

A Twitter user posted photos to social media of the pop star clearly emotional as she reportedly “hugged and comforted victims”.

More than 200 people lived inside the building on the Lancaster West Estate in North Kensington, where the fire broke out at 1:15am Wednesday (local time). The blaze reportedly started when a fridge on the fourth floor exploded, according to one of the survivors. The London Fire Brigade has been unable to confirm the report and says an investigation will be taking place.
