Harry Kane Admits His 100th Goal Was A Fluke

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has said that his 100th competitive goal for Tottenham in their 3-0 win over Everton was a fluke. The England striker scored his first Premier League strike of the season at Goodison Park and also added his second after half-time in a resounding win.

There was real fortune about the opener, however, which looped in over Jordan Pickford's head after Kane sent a deep cross into the penalty area from wide on the right flank.

Kane said “I didn't. I think everyone knows or could tell it was a cross so I got a lucky one but sometimes you need that. I said that in August, you just need a break to go your way and luckily I got that today then I managed to get the second as well. It's been a crazy four or five years so to get that 100th goal is amazing but hopefully now I can get the next 100 even quicker.”
