The French emergency services have
said that 18 fans have been injured and three are in a serious condition after
a barrier collapsed during a Ligue 1 game.
The fixture between Amiens and Lille at the Stade de La Licorne was stopped in the 16th minute after Fode Ballo-Toure's goal sparked celebrations in the away end that caused a fence separating the fans from the pitch to crumble under their weight.

Dozens of Lille supporters
tumbled down several feet onto the side of the pitch, with their fellow
supporters falling on top of them, with medical staff quickly rushing to the
scene to tend to those injured. Both teams were sent to the changing rooms and
the match was subsequently abandoned.
