#AHMusicReview: Let's talk about the songs released in the last 7 days

Absolute Hearts Music Review, African’s No 1 musical review is here with another fresh set of songs and as always we shall be giving our utmost critic and rating to these songs, so you know which song to rock to and which to trash. You are also free to disagree with us in the comment section.

Without further ado here are the songs we have for this week;
1.      Adol ft. Small Doctor - Go Down Low: It's really sad to see how Adol's turned out, this was one artiste that shook Nigeria when he came out with his song Ghetto Life featuring M.I but since then his career struggled to make it out of the ghetto, hopefully things are about to change. Adol the Music Maker returns to the music industry with a decent effort and on this one he brings Omo Iya Teacher, Small Doctor and together they gave us an 8/10 song.

2.      Gigi LaMayne -1 Bar: South African female rapper, Gigi LaMayne finally drops are most anticipated single 1 Bar and I have to say it was worth all the buzz that was created for it on social media. Brilliant effort coming from the South African as the rating will be 9/10.

3.      Shaydee - Hold Me Tight: No offence but this might be Shaydee's best year yet; I mean this will be his third song within the space of three weeks, something that is very rare, let just hope this consistency continues. After thrilling us with what might be his best song for 2017 Make Sense featuring Wizkid, Shaydee returns with another classic effort and this one is titled Hold Me Tight and the rating will be 8/10.

4.      Joe El - Keep Loving: Kennis Music's Joe El Amadi is back with another beautiful song and he calls this one Keep Loving. When it comes to love songs Joe El is really doing a decent job I must say and this song says it all, everything about this song is dope and would have taken a 10/10 rating but after listening carefully you would agree that it has some African Queen sample on the instrumentals. That not to take anything away from this song as it still has some original element and the rating will be 9/10.

5.      Skales - Agolo: Brilliant production coming from Chopstix as Skales returns with his first single for the year after dropping a massive album. Agolo is a decent song from Skales though I have some issues with how the chorus started but he was able to make up for it, the rating will be 8/10 and trust me this song will go far club-wise.

6.      Del B - Boogie: One of the most talented producers we have in the country Del B decides to go slow on his latest single titled Boogie and credits has to be given to him as he nailed it from beginning to end, the rating will be 9/10.

7.      Chopstix ft. 2Baba – Gaga Shuffle (Refix): Producer extraordinary Chopstix decides to give us his own version of 2Baba's Gaga Shuffle. This refix has an up-tempo electric beat compared to the original and makes it even more dance-able, I guess now we have no reason than to do the Gaga Shuffle. The rating will be 9/10.

8.      Phyno ft. Olamide - Augment: I am sure there is nothing more to say about these two, we already know what to expect when they collaborate, they never disappoint and they are not planning to start now. Augment is another decent effort coming from Phyno and Olamide and the rating will be 8/10.

9.      OritseFemi - Bodija: OritseFemi returns with another song less than a week after dropping Pum Pum Nice and he titled this one Bodija. As expected OritseFemi came through on this but credits has to be given to the producer of this song, the production is really sick the rating will be 9/10.

10.  Sess The Problem Kid X Falz X Reminisce – Clap Problem (Remix): Sess should have just left this song the way it was, not saying he didn’t do well, I mean the production he did on it is dope, the electrifying sound is cool. This remix will have been better if it the vocals only came in on the chorus allowing us to enjoy his sick production on the verses. The rating will be 7/10.

11.  Jumabee ft. Skales – Brakata Dance: Jumabee returns with another decent effort and on this one he features Skales and he titled it Brakata Dance, the rating will be 8/10.

12.  DJ Jimmy Jatt ft. Orezi - Jama: When Jimmy Jatt drops a song you expect nothing less than a dope song and yes the most respected DJ in the country didn’t disappoint with his latest effort. With the help of Orezi who really came through, Jimmy gives us another classic Afro tune to rock to. The rating will be 8/10.

13.  Klever Jay ft. CDQ – Holla Remix: I have to say this song doesn’t need a remix, the original version is very much hot but here we are. Klever Jay serves us with the remix of his last week single Holla and on this one he brings CDQ. The rating will still remain the same as the original 8/10
