#AHMusicReview: Aramide, Falz, Mr. P & others on this week's music review

Absolute Hearts Music Review, Africa’s No 1 musical review is here with another fresh set of songs and as always we shall be giving our utmost critic and rating to these songs, so you can know which song to rock to and which to trash. You are also free to disagree with us in the comment section.
Without further ado here are the songs we have for this week;

1.      Ketchup - Olingo: Ketchup returns with another sound titled Olingo, this song has the Solidstar x Timaya - My Body instrumental written all over and Ketchup didn’t really take that feeling away from us. The rating will be 5/10.

2.      May D Rora: It’s Mister May D with another brand new joint and this is titled Rora. Not a bad effort from May D at the same time not the kind of stuff you would expect from May D. I have to say the beat and production is dope, nice alujo instrumentals, the rating will be 7/10.

3.      Busiswa ft. DJ Maphorisa - Bazoyenza: South African Busiswa returns with another song titled Bazoyenza and on this one he features DJ Maphorisa. This is a not a bad song but then again if you listen carefully you would feel it's similarity to Babes's Wodumo Wololo, just that this is of a higher tempo as the beat and instrument are on the high. The rating will be 7/10.

4.      Wande Coal - Funkeh: To celebrate his birthday the Black Diamond himself Wande Coal drops a powerful jam for his fans titled Funkeh. This is another classic tune from Wande and I have to say the production is top notch, shout out to Killertunes for that, the rating will be 8/10.

5.      Tony Ross ft. Cynthia Morgan - Mosa: The name Tony Ross might not sound familiar but if you have been wondering who has been behind Cynthia Morgan's major hits, (German Juice, I’m Taken, Bubble Up) then Tony Ross is your answer. The producer who is currently working on is album teams up with Cynthia and once again they served us another powerful song titled Mosa. I really have to say Cynthia came through on this song and Tony Ross killed the production mehn. The rating will be 9/10.

6.      ID Cabasa X 9ice - Weapon: These two were a force to reckon with some couple of years ago and now that they are back making music together well I am sure you all have seen the end result. Once again producer extraordinary ID Cabasa teams up with 9ice and together they bring us this worship song and like I say you can never get it wrong with a song like this. Cabasa shows us why he still remains one of the best producers in this industry with the production of this song, the rating will be 8/10.

7.      DJ Njabulo ft. Emtee x Cruz x Afrika Swatie - Controversy: This is another South African collaboration and this time its DJ Njabulo who employed the services of Emtee, Cruz and Afrika Swatie on the track titled Controversy, which is also the name of his upcoming project. Decent track for the DJ as every other act on the track also came through, the rating will be 8/10.

8.      ClassiQ ft. Efe x Mareez - Motsa: The Arewa Mafia himself ClassiQ returns with another song titled Motsa and as much as this song sounds very nice and groovy you can tell it has DJ Xclusive's Shawama written all over it but then again like I said this isn’t a bad song, unexpectedly I would say Efe was impressive on this. The rating will be 7/10.

9.      Falz - La Fete: The Bahd Guy himself returns with another club banging song titled La Fete. The song which was excellently produced by Demsa see Falz connecting with his francophone fans as he dishes out some of his lyrics in French. This is another dope tune coming from Falz who has been hard working all year round. The rating will be 9/10.

10.  Mr. P- Cool It Down: If you haven’t gotten over the Psqaure break up I guess it’s time you move on and decide which camp you want to pitch your tent. Peter Okoye now known as Mr. P officially make his solo outing with a decent effort titled Cool It Down and I have to say not a bad song. The rating will be 8/10.

11.  M.I Abaga - You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Life: Chocolate City boss M.I Abaga finally drops his first single after many years of being off and just like a boss that he is, he takes a jab at all Nigerian rappers with the song titled You Rapper Should Fix Up Your Life. M.I dropped some real conscious on this; he speaks about how South Africa rap has rightly and truly taken over the rap scene while asking Nigeria rapper to wake up. The rating will be 8/10.

12.  Oladips ft. Reminisce – Lalakukulala: Oladips brings us another street banger, from the moment the beat drops you will definitely put on your dancing shoes as this is a monster hit. Lalakukulala features his label boss Reminisce and this is a total club banger that will take over the street in no time. The Sarz produced song will have a 9/10.

13.  Riky Rick ft. Nasty C x Tshego - Vapors: With a song like this, you will understand what M.I means by getting killed by the South. South Africa Riky Rick teams up with another South African rap monster Nasty C and Tshego who is on the hook; together they gave us this powerful rap joint titled Vapors. Want to talk about real rap then talk about Vapors, the rating will be 9/ 10.

14.  Aramide - Jowo: Funmi lowo crooner Aramide returns with another soulful music and this one is titled Jowo. If you are looking for that contemporary music to ease the soul then this is your jam, the instrumental in this song is killing and of course the beautiful vocals of Aramide is sweet to the ears as always. The rating for this classic will be 8/10.

15.  Juls ft. Burna Boy – Gwarn: Ghanaian born British producer Juls who is responsible for most of Mr Eazi's hits returns with another single and on this one he feature Nigeria's Burna Boy. The song titled Gwarn is a low tempo song and as expected Burna Boy came through, the rating will be 7/10.

16.  Adekunle Gold - Money: Adekunle Gold returns with another single titled Money and for those Adekunle Gold fans that have been waiting I say this is something you will definitely enjoy. In his usual style Adekunle Gold came through on this song and I have to say the production of this song is dope as the rating will be 9/10.
