So few days ago we had the #EndSARS campaign where Nigerians especially youths called for the scrapping of Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Since then, Nigerians and ever celebrities have taken to social media to express their displeasure in the way SARS officials go about their duties unprofessionally, harassing innocent individuals and battering people not convicted by any court of law.

The campaign lasted over 4 days with the hastag #EndSARS trend on Twitter. Fastforward to today, we all woke up to a counter campaign #SupportSARS where reports say some youths were paid to campaign against the end SARS movement. This has drawn heavy criticism from other youths who feel disgusted by this campaign. See some reactions below:
I should #SupportSARS oppressing common men & women like me?— Bhadmus Hakeem 🇳🇬 (@Bhadoosky) December 11, 2017
I should support SARS collecting bribe from common men & women like me?
I should support SARS killing common men & women like me?
I should support SARS who no longer go after Armed Robbers but common men &women like me?
Now I doubt if Nigeria can be better. Some people just sold their humanity just for lunch money. Imagine the u-turn against the #endsars campaign.— Jordan Belonwu (@JordanBelonwu) December 11, 2017
Look at the banners, you can see this #supportsars was a sponsored campaign. Look at the money they spent to make Nigerians liars
This government said nothing about the SARS issue or acknowledge any issues about their brutality but when we decide to do an #EndSARS rally, they in turn decide to run a #supportSARS rally and pay media houses to get involved.— KVNG (@PRINCE_VIIII) December 11, 2017
What a shame. That’s the Nigeria we’re in. Wow
What worries me most is how the people that turned out for #SupportSARS protest are more than the people that turned out for #Endsars...— Osas Cruz (@OsasCruz) December 11, 2017
Less I forget #SupportSARS is trending, #Endsars is not.

What we are witnessing with this disgraceful #SupportSARS campaign is how poverty can be turned into a weapon by oppressive regimes. The voice/vote of a Nigerian youth costs less than $5. Shame on Nigeria. Shame on Buhari. #ENDSARS— Kelvin Odanz (@KelvinOdanz) December 11, 2017

#SupportSARS? Wondering why we can't have youth leaders? It's cos we have youthful beggars who sell out for porridge. Wth— 9jaallnews (@9jaallnews) December 12, 2017
