South Africa is packed with rich, delicious cuisines. It is diverse because it is not only influenced by the indigenous population but also by the French, Malaysians, Indians and Dutch. Boerewors
This is a very popular sausage dish in South Africa. It consists of either seasoned pork or beef that has been minced. It is full of spices such as black pepper, cloves, toasted coriander seeds, nutmeg and all spice.

Malva pudding
This is a Dutch import. Malva pudding is a sweet and sticky baked sponge pudding made with apricot jam and served smothered in a hot cream sauce. It is served in many restaurants but mainly baked at home for Sunday lunch.

Chakalaka

It is classically a relish consisting of carrots, tomatoes, chiles, baked beans and hot curry powder. It is a staple that accompanies almost every South African meal. This can be combined with a variety of vegetables. To enjoy, you must have the dish with barbecue.
