Exactly a month after he was released on bail, he was back at the station but this time it was for some further questioning. It was on this same day that he was told the day his trial was going to begin and it was in two months time.

Just like Mr. Balogun had promised he provided Tunde with two of his best lawyers, who had decided to come together and work as one on the case. Both lawyers decided they weren’t going to the court room to plead a guilty or not guilty case for Tunde instead they said they would ask the court to dismiss the case but it was on what ground exactly that they were working on tirelessly.

After Tunde was released on bail he took his mom back home and Yetunde also decided to go with them. When they left the station, Tunde didn't say much but after they got to Yetunde's house and they were all seated in the sitting room, he thanked them for their help and support. He thanked Mr. Balogun for his fatherly support and how he wished he could pay him back and it was after this that he was informed about the incident that happened with his mother.

Mr. Balogun told him that he didn't want him to start thinking he said he needed to be a man and be strong for his mother because she needs him the most and he agreed to reduce his own thinking so that he could at least try to put a smile on his mother face. He really tried his best not to think much but he couldn’t help it, knowing that his life might change for the worst very soon, knowing that he might end up behind bars for real, he wasn't known for trouble but now he is not only in trouble but he might also be going jail for it.

He friend Chucks came around the weekend that Tunde was granted bail and that light up his mood at least for that weekend and for the first time since the accident he finally managed to smile and talk for two hours without sliding and getting lost in thoughts. After their youth service himself and chucks had kept in touch, the weekend the accident occurred he was suppose to come to Lagos and meet up with Tunde but because of what happened he couldn’t make it down to Lagos. He had tried calling Tunde before leaving Abuja but after many tries and he couldn’t get through he decided to forgo the plan of coming to Lagos, it was the next day when he retried Tunde's number and he didn't get through, he scroll down his phone and he found Yetunde number and placed a call to her.

Part of his bail condition was that he was going to remain at home till the trial date so work was out of it, he didn't like the way he was home, he said he needed to work, he needed to occupy his thought with something else, he felt the more he stays at home the more it would be difficult for him not to think. Yetunde was really helpful as she tried everything within her power to make sure that both Tunde and his mom didn’t think to the point where one of them might want to consider suicide.

What Tunde couldn’t understand from the day of the accident was who took the suitcase of money because according to what the lawyers said if the money was recovered it could have made the case much more easy but the fact that they couldn’t find the money made everything much more difficult. Tunde tried as hard as he could maybe just maybe he would remember seeing anyone taking the money away from the scene but he couldn’t. He thought to himself “how would I even remember who took the money, I was scared with the fact that I just pushed someone to his death”.
