Max Von Sydow Join Cast For Games OF Thrones 6

After the announcement that Ian McShane would feature in the new Game of Thrones series there is another big announcement that has been made concerning the cast.

HBO has announced that Ian McShane whose role in the upcoming sixth season of the movie hasn’t been specified would be joined by another veteran, Max Von Sydow of Minority Report but unlike McShane we know the role Max would be playing.

The renowned actor would be the replacement of Struan Rodger as the Three-Eyed Raven: the wizard-like sage who first manifested in Bran’s visions, before being introduced properly in the season 4 finale. He, along with Bran, Hodor, and Meera, were completely absent from the last season but he is expected to return with a vengeance next year, having trained the young Stark boy to a near Jedi level.
