Hello people, hope you had a great
weekend both musically and otherwise? Well as for me the music scene was a bit
dull but we still have you covered with the weekly music reviews and the
songs for this week are songs released from 6th September to 13 September.
Enjoy!!!!!
1. OREZI: Alhaji Orezi just released his Ghen Ghen album and some couple of songs made it to our weekly reviews and those songs are;
Big Something ft MI x Flavour: Songs likes this just makes ask the question 'what tribe is Orezi?' A very good song which would be well received by his Igbo fans and fans of good music. MI and Flavour did their part in adding life to the song. 8/10
Ijo Ayo Remix ft Pasuma x Olamide: Left to me I would say this song didn't need a remix the original was perfect. All in all the song is a go song and Pasuma did his best on the song. 7/10
Lo Le: Uhuru just knows how to give us those South African beat that make us want to go gaga. Skales did well on this song and you know anything Uhuru does is a hit.8/10
3. Ms Chief -Mercy Is Dead: For now Ms Cheif is the hottest unsigned female act in industry and she is steadily making her way to the top. This song talks about how hard she is willing to go just to get to the top and like she said “beef with me na suicide”. 9/10
4. Ms. Kiss - Stoopid ft Falz: The Owo Meta rapper is back and this time she brought the bahd guy himself Falz. Stoopid is a hit song as Ms Kiss once again showed us why she is probably the best female rapper at the moment. The Young D produced track has an 8/10 rating.
5. Blackface - Killah: It been a while since we heard from the ex Plantainshun Boiz member but hey! Blackface Naija is back. Killah is the song and honesty he killed this reggae inclined song. For a comeback song I rate it 8/10
6. Naeto C: Still from his Day 1 album, Super C has two tracks on the review this week and they are;
It Is Too Late: From this song, it is now certain that the Day 1 album is more hip pop than we had expected. This is a true hip hop joint, well crafted by Masterkraft and the rating is 8/10

Ogede:
He employed the service of Wizkid
and Timaya on this one and I must
say even without them, this song was already a hit from the get go. 8/10
Mr
Officer: Now Orezi brought his singing part on this one and of course it
is definitely a hit. A very nice and groovy beat that would make you continue
to bounce along with the song. 8/10
Baby
Abeg: This song just shows that Orezi is a very talented and diversified singer who understands his sound. 8/10

Confam:
What more can I say, Naeto has gone
all hip pop on us mehn!!!! If you are a true hip pop fan then this song is for
you. 9/10 is the rating.
7. Jhybo - Shuga: The Rapwoli is back with this nice groovy song titled Shuga. Nice song with a very catchy chorus, it is sure to blow the club up and the rating for this Popito produced song is 8/10
8. Sojay - Sugarcane ft Reminisce: Sojay is really working had to be the force to reckon with it and this week he is on our review with the song Sugarcane which features label mate Reminisce. If Reminisce's verse was probably kept in the middle of the song it would have been better but all in all it is a good song but not a hit song. The rating is 6/10.
9. Wande Coal - Same Sh*t ft AKA: Really I can’t wait for Mr. Black Diamond to drop his album, this song is with AKA is just to show us what to except from the album. In one word I would say DOPE. The rating is 9/10.
There you have it people the songs under reviews this week and of course to the Absolute Hearts Song Of The Week; I must say it was a tough one this week but hey we just have to pick.
