Elizabeth Banks Wants to Direct Charlie's Angels Reboot

Are You Ready, Charlie and his Angels are coming back to a screen near you.

Yes people Sony Studio has decided to reboot the famous 1970 television series Charlie's Angels and rumours has it that Elizabeth Banks is in talks with the studio to direct the reboot for the franchise.

A source told E! News that Elizabeth Banks is also planning of directing highly anticipated reboot with her husband and producing partner Max Handelman. The studio and producers are still in search for a writer to undertake the reboot. No word yet on who the studio is eyeing to portray the roles of the angels, which was first done by Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith in the 1970s and then by Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu in 2000.
