Former Pro Wrestler Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka Charged With Murder

Decades after retiring from professional wrestling Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka is back in the spotlight but this time it is not for a good reason.

Jimmy Snuka has been arrested and charged with third degree murder after the investigation of the death of his girlfriend back in 1983 was reopened. Rolling Stone reports that Snuka was arrested Tuesday morning and is being held under a $100,000 bond.

At issue is the unsolved death of Nancy Argentino, the woman who died while she was sharing a motel room with the former wrestler and at the time, there was suspicion that he might have had something to do with it. Officials say that Superfly was arrested in part because of a never before seen autopsy report that implicates the man in Argentino’s death.
