Straight Outta Acid

Police are currently investigating an awful incident that occurred during the screening of the new rap biopic, Straight Outta Compton where a man had acid thrown in his face.

The 27-year-old victim is currently hospitalized at Queen Victoria Hospital where he is suffering from life-changing injuries in the dreadful attack. The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday morning as the attackers were driving a dark-colored Peugeot car and were said to be white and in their late 20s or early 30s. One had short, dark hair and a beard and had a bag across his shoulders. The other man wore white or light grey hooded jumper and jeans. The victim and his friend were watching the new movie about the rise and fall of the United States-based hip-hop group NWA at Cineworld, in the Crawley Leisure Park, West Sussex, when he was attacked.

Detective Sergeant Laura Diamond, of Crawley CID, had this to say “This was an isolated but nevertheless nasty and unprovoked assault. We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen an altercation either within the cinema or later in the car park outside”.
