Recently retired boxer Floyd Mayweather posed with the 22 belts he won during his career which
included WBC, WBA and IBF titles and he said “it took 19 years but they'll talk about it
forever”.
The 38 years old undefeated champion, who had a 49
wins - 26 by knockout and 23 by decision posed with belts including
his WBC Super Featherweight, IBF Welterweight and WBA (Super)
Welterweight in photo which a posted on facebook. Mayweather ended his career
by outclassing Andre Berto at the
MGM Grand in Las Vegas in September, and has been enjoying something of a
retirement road show ever since.
The absence of Mayweather has left a gaping hole in
the boxing calendar, but it's a gap that one of his former victims, Saul Alvarez, is aiming to fill when he
fights Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas
next month. Both men were beaten by Mayweather, but for Alvarez the 2013 defeat
was the only loss of his career so far.
Mayweather is now enjoying his retirement as he
took a trip to see Los Angeles Clippers
face Golden State Warriors on
Tuesday night in an NBA pre-season at the Staples Center and Mayweather
witnessed the Clippers beat last season's NBA champions 135-90 in one of the
final warm-up matches before the regular season starts next week.
