Wayne Rooney Honoured With Golden Boot

Bobby Charlton presented Wayne Rooney with a commemorative golden boot ahead of England's qualifier against Estonia.

Rooney, who surpassed Charlton’s England record of 49 goals with a strike against Switzerland last month, was ruled out of the Estonia match with an ankle injury.
Rooney who now has 50goals from 107 international caps, he's also the most red carded player for the three lions sharing that with David Beckham. Rooney is also likely to top United all time goal scorer in the English premiership as he's on 171goals, 28goals more for him to equal another Sir Bobby Charlton's record.
However, the Manchester United star was afforded a warm reception at a far-from-capacity Wembley Stadium.
The match ended with Walcott and Sterling on the score sheet, as England made it nine wins out of nine games. Roy Hodgson's side have already qualified for the tournament in France next summer.
England round off their qualifying campaign with a trip to Lithuania on Monday. They then face friendlies against Spain and France in November and Germany in March of next year.
