Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review + Song Of The Week

Good day, it another beautiful Monday and just like you know it, it is time for the Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review and I am happy to be back.
First of let me say Happy New Month in arrears to all my esteem readers because I know I said it in Advance last week, by the way hope this fuel palava ain't causing you much trouble because e don show me pepper. Any way enough of the catch up let get down to business;

1.      Sinzu: First let me say when it comes to real rap music, Sinzu formerly known as Sauce Kid is one of the greatest rapper to every come out of Nigeria and the songs off his project Industreet proves it. By the way, big ups to my friend (Adewale) who hooked me up with this album, thanks a bunch and with that been said here are the songs I would be reviewing on the album;
Intro Message: This is a perfect song to kick start this project as Sinzu told us how hard it is to survive and how far he is willing to go just to keep surviving. I rate this song 8/10.

My flows: Really you won’t appreciate this song if you don't like rap music, this is another monster track from Sinzu. Cool chorus, dope verses and of course superb production, this is another 8/10.

Up and Down: Sinzu goes all romantic on this one and even I was falling in love with him (lol na joke oooo) but he really did justice to this love song and I guess this is why them ladies love him. I rate this song 8/10.

2.      Jhybo - Adura Elijah: Everything about this song says a 9/10 from the beginning to the end. I haven’t heard a rap song that is this spiritual and touching at the same time in a very long time. The beat was cool and Jhybo's verses were so touching I could relate with it literally.

3.      Phemon X Koker -Alujo: If you understand the meaning of Alujo, then this song is a true definition of Alujo, Phemon and Koker killed this Blackmarket concept song. From the production to the chorus down to the verse, this song is another 9/10.

4.      D’Banj -Shake It: This song is already making headlines but not really for the right reasons, there is a twitter accusation by DeeVee, the in house producer of DB Records who produce this song, that Olamide keeps stealing D’banj song as a line of this song was first used in Olamide's song Don't stop. As for this song DeeVee as continue to prove that with him, D’banj would get back to his glory days, this is another cool song from the Koko Master and his producer. I rate it a 7/10. “oya shake it, don't break it, it took your mama nine months to make it” this is the line DeeVee is accusing Olamide of stealing.

5.      Flavour-Baby Okwu Gyration: Flavour just showed us that he hasn’t forgetting his root as he took us back to the style that made him popular on this one. As expected, Flavour did justice to the song and it is indeed a gyration song with a 7/10 rating.

6.      Yung L ft Henry Knight- Bady Goo: Cool song from two cool down, Yung L gave us the cool reggae feeling and Henry Knight was there to give that solid back up and together they gave us a 7/10 song.

7.      Mbryo ft Korede Bello X Jaywon X Dammy Krane - Halleluyah Remix: Good remix I must say, because of the people he brought on it but the only problem I have is that it is too long. This kind of song should be short so that people won’t get tired of it. I rate the song 7/10.

8.      Burna Boy ft AKA X Da Les X KID X - Birthday: To be candid I found it difficult to believe this song was done by Burna Boy, it sounded too foreign from beginning to the end but I guess that is one of the surprises you get on the Spaceship album. I rate this song 8/10.

9.      Brymo Waka Waka: Every time I hear Brymo sings my head swells and I have this goose pimples all over me, this guy is too talented and too blessed. This is a very good lyrical song with good message and nice production to back it up though it is said to be the soundtrack of a movie yet Brymo killed it. I rate this song 8/10.

10.  MC Galaxy- Hello: At first I wasn't sure if I should listen to this song because I thought it was another cover of Adele's song but it is not. Hello is another good song from MC Galaxy and it is produce by DJ Coublon. I rate it 7/10.

11.  Reminisce ft Lil Kesh X Seriki X Falz X CDQ - Kpomo Remix: To be candid I love this remix more than the original as Reminisce and his Ibile United Soldiers (except from Falz) went X rated on this one. Only Falz kept it a little bit clean on this song, I give this song 8/10.

2.  CDQ FT Wizkid - Nowo E Soke: This song put an end to my doubt if Masterkraft has been the best producer for the year 2015. To me Masterkraft is the best producer for 2015 and this song is another hit from his stable. CDQ and Wizkid blended so well on this song as they give us another 9/10 song.

13.  Banky W ft Chidinma - All I Want Is You: Okay I wasn't excepting this song to be this good and I must say I am impress most especially with Banky, the way he adlibs the Igbo part of this song, he sounded like a true son of the soil which he is not.

14.  Adekunle Gold Pick Up: And this is another Golden song from Adekunle himself, this dude is a blessing to our music industry and if he should continue like this he would become a legend sooner than later. This is a song I have kept on repeat since the first day I heard it because it is a 9/10.

Weeks like this I don't like because choosing the song of the week is just difficult, sometimes I wish you guys could always help me out and I hope what I would pick today wont fall your hand.
