The Rock Returning to WrestleMania

Dwayne Johnson better known as “The Rock,” has announced that he will be returning to WrestleMania in 2016.

The professional wrestler-turned-actor made the announcement on Instagram to his near 38 million fans, saying “IT’S OFFICIAL: People’s Champ is coming home to do 3 things with THE PEOPLE: Set an ALL-TIME attendance record, ELECTRIFY Dallas like never before & make all time #WRESTLEMANIA history. And we have FUN. Ok that’s four things but you know what the hell The Rock’s sayin’… THANK YOU #WWEUniverse! It’s always an honor coming home and I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

The Rock is an  eight-time winner of the WWE Championship belt and he has also been able to find immense success as an action star in film with the “Fast & Furious” franchise, “G.I. Joe” in 2013 and this year’s box office smash “San Andreas.” Johnson has also found a younger following with “Tooth Fairy” in 2010 and Disney’s “The Game Plan” in 2008.
