The Magicians Renewed for Season 2

Syfy has renewed The Magicians for a second season of 13 episodes, which is expected to premiere in 2017.

The series, based on the bestselling fantasy novels from Lev Grossman and stars Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta and Summer Bishil as a group of twenty-somethings learning magic and its dark consequences at Brakesbill College for Magical Pedagogy. 

Dave Howe, president of, Syfy & Chiller, said this in a statement “Thanks to an extraordinarily gifted creative team of executive producers and our partners at Universal Cable Productions, The Magicians has become a buzzed-about hit, enchanting fans of the novels as well as attracting new and younger audiences to Syfy”.
