Ali Lotfi Replaces Injured El-Hadary

 

Ali Lotfi has been invited to the Pharaoh’s team for Tuesday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria. The ENPPI goalkeeper replaces injured Essam El-Hadary who sustained a gastrocnemius muscle injury during a training session with the Pharaohs at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Lofti who made his international debut against Malawi in June 2015 will compete with Ahmed El-Shennawy and Mohammed El-Shennawy for the Group G encounter against the three-time African champions at the Borg El-Arab Stadium.

Mohammed Salah’s late minute strike ensured Hector Cuper’s men played a 1-1 draw with Nigeria in the first leg in Kaduna on Friday.
