Deadpoool Is Now The Highest Grossing R-Rated Movie Of All-Time

At the moment attention may be focused on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice given its huge weekend at the box office but as of today, Deadpool has hit a worldwide gross of $745.9 million, making it the highest grossing R-Rated movie worldwide.

Domestically speaking, Wade Wilson isn’t sitting on top just yet. Deadpool currently has the number 3 spot for R-Rated movies over on this side of the ocean, with $349.4 million under its belt. Sitting at number one domestically is The Passion of the Christ, with $370.7 million, and given that Deadpool is almost done its theatrical run, it likely won’t surpass that.
