#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

This is another fresh episode of Absolute Hearts Music Review and like we normally do we serve you with the best of not just new music but also we criticize, analyse and rate those particular sets of new music. Today we are spicing it up, on behalf of our partners BCP Radio we are giving out Free Recharge Cards to the First Two People who can predict correctly what song would be the Song Of The Week when this program airs today by 4pm on BCP Radio. All you have to do is listen via www.bcp.com.ng and call us on 08176982150 to tell us which song would be the song of the week. Winners would be contacted immediately after the show.

1.      2Baba ft Sauti Sol - Oya Come Make We Go: I don’t think I need to waste time in praising 2Baba because we know his music is exceptional and this inspiration tune featuring Sauti Sol is another prove of that. The rating for this song would be 8/10.

2.      Brymo- Happy Memories: As we anticipate the much talked about Brymo album titled Klitoris, he serves us with this lovely tune which serves as the first singles from the album. Happy Memories is a very good song that shows the writing and composing ability of Brymo and I have no doubt this song would go far and did I say what a nice instrumental by the way. The rating would be 8/10.

3.      Chinko Ekun- Binu: Bouncing off his freestyle on Olamide Who You Epp, Chinko Ekun serves us with this track titled Binu. Chinko tune down his rap style on this song as he tries to show us he is also versatile and I must say he did well. The rating would be 7/10.

4.      Dice Ailes ft Iyanya - Fantasy Rmx: Nice joint from Dice, though I never listened to the original version of this song but I am all cool with this remix. Iyanya also came through on this song and gave it another sweet melody and I must also say the production was dope and the rating would be 9/10.

5.      Jesse Jagz - Reputation: All I am going to say is that I can't wait for Jesse to release his new album because this song is so dope and I am sure the album would be nothing less. This is what I call real hip hop rap even though he said the instrumental isn’t his own he still went ahead to kill it. This is a song that would really go far and just allow me to say this 'Jargo is back'. The rating for this song would 8/10.

6.      Skuki ft Lil Kesh: I was already enjoying this song till Lil Kesh came in and I was like really what happened to Kesh, what was he doing?. Young John once again showed his production genius on this track and Skuki did their best but Kesh for me killed the vibes of this song and for that the rating would be 7/10.

7.      Timaya ft Flavour- Money: In as much as I would say this song is a good song I would also say it is time for Timaya to evolve with his sounds, the sounds keeps sounding the same. This song would have sounded better if the beat was different from this. The rating would be 6/10.

8.      Olu Maintain - Excuse My French: Olu Maintain is back and this time with a very different sound that I must say is already getting massive airplay across the country. I guess after all Olu Maintain hasn’t lost his musical touch and this song proves that. Nice production from P-Loops same guy that produce D’Banj's Emergency. The rating would 9/10.

Thanks for reading.....
