#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

Welcome to another fresh episode of #AHMusicReview #Absolute Hearts Music Review and like we normally do we serve you with the best of not just new music but also we criticize, analyse and rate those particular sets of new songs.

Remember you can also listen to the live broadcast of this program on BCP Radio every Friday 4-5pm via www.bcp.com.ng Without any further ado here are the songs we have for this week;

1.      Jhybo ft Tilla Man X Martel B- Kolo: First of let me say sick beat and lovely production. Every artiste came through on this including Martel B who so much isn’t really known about. Not a bad song I must say and the rating for this song would be 8/10

2.      Nikki Laoye ft Seyi Shay- Only You (Rmx): Just as I was asking where Nikki is, she resurfaced with this beautiful remix to one of her songs and this time she brought along Seyi Shay who blessed this lovely reggae tune with her brilliant vocals. The rating for this song would 8/10.

3.      Phillkeyz ft May D x Reminisce- Romeo: Phillkeyz isn’t a new producer and he has been in the game for a while now but this is the first his song would appear here and that simply because the brilliant production he did on this song can’t be ignored. He got help from May D x Reminisce as they both made sure the beat didn't go to waste and I must say they all did a brilliant job. The rating would be 9/10.

4.      Ruggeman ft Milli –Oloshi: Ruggedman is back again and if there is one thing I have noticed about him this year, it is the fact Rugged is taking the rap game to another level. Oloshi which he featured Milli is another dope rap song done in the real hip hop way including the beat and the production. The rating for this song would be 9/10.

5.      XBusta - Chom: Just last week I was talking about how good this dude is and how I would be monitoring his progress. For those of you that don't know, last week I said I have never reviewed any upcoming artiste's song whether signed or not until I have heard about at least four songs or at least two hit song back to back but with XBusta I broke that rule and with this new track I am really glad I did. Chom is just as good as his breakthrough song Mother Anybody and the rating for this would be 9/10.

6.      Samklef ft Kayswitch x Zion- Eledumare (Bless Me): When it comes to good and quality music there is no doubt Samklef is one guy we can always rely on. apart from his production genius, his ability to utilise his vocal to produce good sound is also one of the positive things that has been working for Samklef. Eledumare which features Kayswitch x Zion is a brilliant tune that would make you appreciate life and God, the rating would be 8/10.

7.      Reminisce - Owo Re: Compare this to other songs Baba Hafusa has kept out this year I guess it is safe this song is weak. I understand Reminisce was trying to do something different but this song wasn't good enough though I would say the beat and production was okay but the total song itself isn’t up to standard. The rating would be 7/10.
