Daniel Bruhl Joins Hunt For The God Particle

Daniel Bruhl is bound for the stars via Paramount and Bad Robot’s mind-bending sci-fi flick, God Particle. THR has the scoop, confirming that Bruhl will don the space gear as an astronaut aboard the International Space Station, one who bears witness to a terrifying discovery that challenges everything they know about the fabric of reality, as they desperately fight for survival.
Early reports claim that a physics experiment gone awry is to blame for the sudden disappearance of Earth, and the ISS crew is left facing a terrifying dilemma when an unidentified space shuttle drifts into orbit. Friend or foe? That’s something that’s being kept firmly under wraps for now.

Behind the lens for Bad Robot’s ambitious genre piece is director Julius Onah, who has already assembled a starry ensemble to commandeer the International Space Station in David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Krasinski and Elizabeth Debicki. J.J. Abrams is on board to produce God Particle, and production is expected to get underway in the coming months now that Onah’s casting spree is coming to a close.
