Eddie Murphy and Girlfriend Paige Butcher Welcome First Child Together

 

Eddie Murphy girlfriend, Paige Butcher gave birth to daughter Izzy Oona Murphy on Tuesday morning as his rep confirms the news. Izzy delivered weighing 7 lbs., 15 oz. and was 19.5 inches. “Both mother and daughter are doing well”, the rep said. This is the first child for Butcher and ninth child for Murphy.

The comedian and Butcher announced in November that they were expecting, saying they were pleased to announce that they are expecting a child in May. They didn't reveal the sex at the time, but it turns out they were having a baby girl!

The couple has been together for more than four years, but they lead a very private life outside of the spotlight. In fact, Butcher has been candid about her reasoning for staying off social media. "I'm in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there's already enough of me out there," the Australian star told Vanity Fair in 2013. I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now.
