Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini and Leicester City's Robert Huth have been
charged with violent conduct by the Football Association. The charges relate to
an incident during Sunday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, which was not seen
by the match officials but caught on video.
Huth appeared to pull the hair of Manchester United's Fellaini as a corner
was played in, before the latter twice aimed an elbow towards the Leicester
defender. Off-the-ball incidents which are not seen at the time by the match
officials are referred to a panel of three former elite referees. Each referee panel member will review the video footage independently of one another to determine whether they consider it a sending-off offence. For retrospective action to be taken, and an FA charge to follow, the decision of the panel must be unanimous.
The players have until 6pm on Wednesday to reply to the charge.
