One More Cast Added To Spider-Man: Homecoming

Production may be well underway on the Atlanta set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, with numerous photos to prove it, but it seems that the casting process for the film is still incomplete. A report coming in says that Jona Xiao has just boarded the reboot in an unknown role.

Perhaps best known for her work as Julie Yang on AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, Xiao is starting to boost her profile a bit, with upcoming gigs like Keeping Up With The Joneses and Gifted. Her part in Homecoming is likely a small one, but it will no doubt be another solid credit for her resume.

In regards to what we know about the upcoming Jon Watts-directed film, very little has surfaced thus far. What we can tell you, though, is that Tom Holland will lead the way as the titular hero and he’ll be flanked by an impressive cast that boasts names like Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Logan Marshall-Green, Robert Downey Jr., Donald Glover, Marisa Tomei and many, many more.

Here is an official plot synopsis as been released by Marvel: A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
