That’s something that Spectre star Christoph Waltz touched upon while chatting with German magazine Zeit-Magazin Mann stating, “right now, nobody even knows which studio will produce the next and if Daniel will return. All of that is filed under ‘carry on’.”
Stepping into the shoes of the infamous Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Waltz then went on to discuss his villainous turn in Spectre, which left him somewhat frustrated: “I cannot claim that I’ve really nailed Blofeld. Overall, it held water and was okay. But it wasn’t what I’ve been looking for. I was searching for more inspiration.”
Though it failed to live up to its predecessor Skyfall, Spectre still brought in close to $850 million at the international box office, ensuring that, for all intents and purposes, Bond 25 is inevitable.
