Harry Kane says Tottenham's new signings have made them stronger than last season and ready for the Champions League. Spurs have kept hold of the majority of their first-team players that saw the club challenge for the Premier League title until late on last season, while they have brought in the likes of Vincent Janssen, Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko to help bolster their squad.
Kane is yet to score in the new campaign, having finished as the top flight's leading goalscorer with 25 goals last time around, and he admits with the added pressure of Champions League football set to begin the players now need to improve on results so far.
He said “I think we've got a stronger squad than last year, we've added some great additions to the team. We've bought some great players in who have fitted in perfectly. So now we're ready, we've got a lot of games, being in the Champions League against tough opponents. We definitely feel we're ready to go and we're stronger than last year. The performances haven't been amazing. There's still room to improve. But we've got some good results against some tough teams. We hope to kick on now like we did last year, get some wins and go from there.”
