Jon Snow Auditioning For Another Drama

In the prolonged lull between Game of Thrones seasons 6 and 7, series stalwart Kit Harington has lined his slate with a host of intriguing roles. The first of which is Martin Koolhoven’s Western thriller Brimstone, where he’ll be rubbing shoulders with Guy Pearce, Dakota Fanning and Carice van Houten.

Come November, Harington will be headlining Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as the lead villain. A mix of performance capture and voice work was required for the role, and it means that the actor will be joining a very exclusive Call of Duty club that already boasts the likes of Kevin Spacey, Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman and Heather Graham.

Currently bearing the working title Gunpowder, the outlet confirmed today that Harington has opened negotiations to headline the three-part drama series, one that revolves around Guy Fawkes and the infamous failed attempt to blow up London’s House Of Lords circa 1605. The actor, who has family ties to the plot via Robert Catesby, has long expressed his desire to get a TV adaptation off the ground, and the BBC is reportedly mapping out plans for three hour-long episodes.
