“Orange Is The New Black” Star Announce Her Engagement

 

After bidding farewell to her much-loved character in “Orange Is The New Black”, Samira Wiley may be getting her happy ending after all. On Tuesday, the 29years old actress announced her engagement to writer Lauren Morelli with an adorable post on her Instagram. “Yes,” she captioned the photo, as the couple smiled from ear-to-ear.

Wiley and Morelli have been dating for over two years now, first confirming their relationship in September 2014 when Morelli published an essay about her sexuality to Mic.

In the piece, she announced her divorce from her husband Steve Basilone and proclaimed her love for an unnamed actress that she had met on the set of the hit Netflix series, which later turned out to be Wiley.
