Duncan Mighty clears the air on controversial post saying he attended the Nigerian Military School, Zaria

Port Harcourt based singer Duncan Mighty was called out recently by ex-students of the Nigerian Military School, Zaria, for claiming to be an alumnus of the school in the 1993 - 1999 set.
The drama began after the singer uploaded a photo of himself with some men in military uniform, captioning it, “Nigeria is blessed . I bumped into my course mates way back at Nigerian Military School, Zaria, 99 set. Proudly bravo company –NMS. ”

Reacting to the post, ex-students of NMS went on his page to slam him for claiming to be a former student of the school. Also, the NMS class of 99 put out a press release on their official Instagram page to distance themselves from him and requested that Duncan Mighty desist from posing as an alumnus of the school .

A member of his management team, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said “The truth is that Duncan Mighty went to a military school in Port Harcourt. He was supposed to proceed to the Nigerian Military School in Zaria after passing the examination, but his mother fell seriously ill. The soldiers he took a picture with were some of his classmates in Port Harcourt. So when they saw him, they were so happy and they took a picture together. The post was misunderstood. If you know Duncan well, he has a lot of friends in the army and most of them were his classmates in the secondary school.
