West Ham And Tottenham Set To Share New Stadium

The Olympic Stadium being used at the London 2012 Olympics will be West Ham's new home - The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is just 11 minutes from the heart of Kent to Stratford International.
There has been a good deal of angst among West Ham supporters about the inappropriateness of The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, to give it its proper name, to host a football game - whatever shape of ball. I can report that West Ham supporters are in for a surprise. Whether it is a pleasant one is entirely down to their own open-mindedness. Because it is certainly different to the Boleyn.
For one, you don’t have to plan which end of the tube to get on so you can clear the Upton Park platform before the next train arrives. English football matchday is to be an authentic one rather than the more family day out feel of the Olympics or even the current competition.Well, it was the Olympic Stadium, after all. The stadium where the seats are too far from the pitch; it will be too quiet; it won’t feel like home. The stadium had a capacity of 80,000, making it the third-largest stadium in England behind Wembley and Twickenham.

Westham are to start playing league game in the stadium in the 2016/2017. Tottenham FC also want to share the stadium with the hammers in the 2017/2018 English League Season.
