Just like we
have the Absolute Hearts Weekly Music
Review, we felt it would only be fair and nice to also have a Video Review
and with that, we present to you Absolute
Hearts Video Analysis.
This would be a weekly article just like the Music Review but this would be a Friday thing, so as you have the Music Review on Monday, you also get to read Reviews about Videos on Friday, that is double reviews every week, now isn’t that Absolute.

On Absolute
Hearts Video Analysis what we do is to analyze and criticize music videos of A
list artiste and directed by A list directors and give them a rating. So without further ado let the analysis and criticism begin.
Olu Maintain ft 2face- Cindarela: First of all let me say I wasn't too moved by this song but after seeing the video, I can’t just stop watching it. I haven’t seen a musical video that tells so much accurate and detailed story without even changing the concept of the song itself. This video has a perfect story-line that also blended in with the song and for that I am more than impressed and I say Big Ups to Olu Maintain has he was the one that wrote the story for the video. Whoever directed this video did a very good job and for that the rating would be 10/10
2. Davido-Dodo: Really
I don't just get this video, though Davido
hardly gets it right when it comes to his videos but I am more disappointed with
this one. The story line of the video and the song has no relationship at all as
the songs talks about his undying love for a girl while the video talks about a
girl that charmed him into loving her. One other thing I don't get is why the
old school outfit and setting, the fact that this video was directed by Adasa Cookey I rate it a 4/10.
3. D’Prince- Oga Titus: One of the very few songs of D’Prince that I like but the video I love
more. This video showed practically everything the song talked about, that
alone is a big plus. The icing on the cake was the court setting where Oga Titus
was sentenced to 100 year imprisonment, I mean that concept is very brilliant
and thoughtful, Big Ups to Mex for a
video well directed and coordinated. Rating would be 9/10.
Thank you all,
these would be the first set of videos that we shall be analyzing, keep a date
with us next week as we bring you another fresh episode of the Absolute Hearts Video Analysis. We are committed to providing you with quality, informative and entertaining stories, thank you for being an unrepentant reader of the blog. Gracias
