Anthony Martial And Mauricio Pochettino Wins Player And Coach Of The Month

Anthony Martial, the France striker was in superlative form in September. Marital joined United for a reported 36 million pounds ($55.70 million) on the final day of the transfer window and the 19-year-old scored three league goals last month, the first coming on debut against Liverpool and then two more against Southampton.

 Martial is the first United player to win the award since Robin Van Persie in April 2013.

The 19-year-old Frenchman is joined by Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino in receiving a monthly award, as Pochettino was named Manager of the Month for guiding his side to three straight victories over Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Manchester City.
