Barca Looses Without Messi

Messi-less Barca went to war today without their star man who is currently undergoing treatment to an injury which will keep him sidelined up to seven more weeks. Barcelona received their second defeat of the season in the hands of Sevilla who prior to the match have only won once in the Laliga games.

Sevila had played six games with only one win and lost during midweek and their Coach Unai Emery was determined to keep his job gingered his boys to victory against the catalan side. The side went two goals up in the second half as the first half produced a goaless draw. Rojiblanco began the second half knowing that a draw will keep them going down the table, The Denmark international Krohn-Dehli tucked the ball home after 52 minutes following a pass from Kevin Gameiro to give Sevilla the lead and then provided a cross for Vicente Iborra to nod in six minutes later. Barça hit the woodwork on four occasions but luck was not on their side as they lost their second consecutive away game following their 4-1 defeat by Celta Vigo, before Neymar scored from the penalty spot on his 100th appearance after a 74th-minute handball from Benoît Trémoulinas.

Barça have 15 points from seven games, a point behind leaders Villarreal who have played a game lesser and are set to face Levante away on Sunday. The result lifts Sevilla from 16th position to 11th position till the other teams play on Sunday. They now have eight points from seven games.

I have got a question to ask, Is the absence of Messi having a toil on Barca? as they have also lost Iniesta through injury and Xavi retired last season. They struggled in midweek to get goals; this week also, their goal came through the spots. Well let's see as the next seven weeks goes?
