UNICEF ambassador David
Beckham will lead a star studded side of Great Britain and Ireland team along
with his former coach Sir Alex Ferguson managing the side, which includes class
of 92 legends Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt. They are to face another
star studded side, full of football greats, "The Rest Of The World",
which will comprise of the likes of Ronaldinho, Figo and Viera starring in the XI.
The all-star lineup of
football legends has been announced to play at Old Trafford in November 14th.

Collina, who was named FIFA’s Best Referee of the
Year (1998, 1999, 2000,2001, 2002, 2003) for six consecutive years during a
renowned career, will referee the match.
Beckham told UNICEF: It’s
incredible that we’re going to be bringing so many of the world’s
greatest footballers together under one roof for this match. It’s
a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and vital funds for Unicef to help
improve the lives of children across the world.
After the match, Beckham is
expected to appear in Uganda and Papua New Guinea, with a documentary following
his tour expected to be broadcast by the BBC as he marks 10years of working
with UNICEF.
