Chris Rock To Host the 2016 Oscars

There was a rumour earlier this week that Chris Rock might be the host for this next year Oscar but now that rumour is now said to be true.

The last time the actor/comedian hosted the show was in 2005 and he is already familiar with the new producing team, Reginald Hudlin and David Hill. Chris had this to say “I'm so glad to be hosting the Oscars, It's great to be back." The Oscars will air February 28, 2016.
With that news been confirmed, Absolute Hearts Entertainment Desk have put together a list of films that we feel might end up getting an Oscar nominations and they are as follows;

1.      Steve Jobs

The movie is based on the life and time of Steve Jobs who happens to be the founder Apple. This biopic movie is really doing well at the cinemas and it is getting the Oscar buzz already.

 The special-effects-heavy film is a shoo-in for technical awards and hopeful Matt Damon could also score a nod for best actor for his role.

3.      Black Mass

This is another biopic movie and it is about Whitey Bulger. Johnny Depp performance it what is given this movie the Oscar buzz as he is also at getting a nod for best actor.

4.      Spotlight
The movie is getting buzz for a best picture nomination, and though its collection of individual strong performances is one of the film's features, Mark Ruffalo's name is getting tossed around for a best supporting actor nod.

5.      Truth

This movie has been getting good reviews for both Robert Redford as Rather and Cate Blancheet as his producer.

Inside Out was one of Summer's biggest hits and its most emotionally satisfying movie so far. We see this ending up to be the winner of best animated film and maybe even a contender best picture.
